Houspire, a brand of ARMISHQ DESIGN PRIVATE LIMITED, explains through this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable laws of India.

Consent is obtained through explicit affirmative action while using our website (houspire.ai), mobile application or services (collectively, the "Platform").

3. Personal Data We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

• Account registration: Name, email address, phone number and encrypted password.
• Project details: Property address, property type, room details, measurements, design requirements and preferences.
• Uploaded files: Floor plans, reference images, property photographs and other files you choose to provide.
• Payment information: Transaction identifiers and payment method. Houspire does not store complete card details.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically: We may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, browser type and version, log information and Platform usage patterns to operate, secure and improve the Platform.

3.3 Children's Data: Houspire does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that a minor's personal data was collected without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, we will take reasonable steps to secure and delete that information.

4. How We Use Personal Data

• Service delivery: Create and manage accounts, match customers with designers, conduct consultations, communicate about orders and deliver design renders, budget documents and related deliverables.
• Payments and records: Process payments through Razorpay, generate invoices, administer eligible refunds and maintain records required for accounting, tax and legal compliance.
• Platform operations: Maintain functionality, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance and protect the Platform and its users.
• Marketing: Send newsletters or promotional communications only where the user has provided the required consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data only where reasonably necessary to provide services, operate the Platform, comply with law or protect legitimate interests. Service providers may include:

• Razorpay: Payment processing in India.
• Supabase: Secure cloud database services, including infrastructure located in the Mumbai region where applicable.
• AWS and Cloudflare: Secure file delivery, hosting support and content-delivery-network protection.
• Assigned designers: Access to relevant project information solely for fulfilling the customer's order, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Houspire does not sell personal data, does not use data brokers and requires designers handling customer information to comply with confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Retention

• Account information: Retained until account deletion, subject to information that must be retained by law or for legitimate dispute and security purposes.
• Order and transaction records: Retained for seven years for tax, accounting and compliance purposes.
• Design deliverables: Retained for one year after delivery, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed with the customer.

7. Data Security

• Encryption: SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest where supported by the relevant infrastructure.
• Infrastructure: Secured cloud infrastructure with updates, monitoring and reasonable technical safeguards.
• Access controls: Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for authorised personnel where applicable.

No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. Houspire therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, but will take reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the personal data processed.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request to:

• access information about their personal data;
• correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data;
• request deletion of eligible personal data or account information;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• nominate another individual to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance regarding Houspire's handling of personal data; and
• export available account or project information through the dashboard where that functionality is provided.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already completed lawfully and may limit Houspire's ability to continue providing services that require the relevant personal data.

10. Consent and Policy Updates

By providing personal data and taking the relevant affirmative action on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to processing as described, where consent is the applicable legal basis.

Houspire may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The revised version will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Where required by law, Houspire will provide additional notice or seek fresh consent.
